The Resurrection Car Show returns Saturday, October 3, at our Leawood location! Whether you’ve got a pristine classic that turns heads everywhere it goes, a meticulously maintained daily driver, or something truly one-of-a-kind tucked away in your garage, we want to see it. This annual celebration brings together serious collectors, casual cruisers, and families who appreciate everything from vintage vehicles to modern marvels.

Registered vehicles check in from 7 to 9:30 am via Roe, and at 10 am, guests are welcome to enjoy food trucks, inflatables, and other family-friendly activities, with parking accessible from Nall. The fun builds to a highlight at noon when the Pastor’s Pick of the Show is announced, with the event wrapping up at 1 pm.

 캔사스중앙글로벌감리교회(Central Korean Global Methodist Church)는 1990년 5월 27일에  40여명의 성도들과 함께 시작되었습니다.

 초대 담임목사님으로 섬기신 전영호 목사님(Dr. Youngho Chun)과 성도들은 75번가 Nall에 위치한 Asbury United Methodist Church 에서 예배를 드리다가 1993년에 이르러 현재의 교회 빌딩을 구입하였고, 연합감리교회(the United Methodist Church)에 소속되어 이후로 약 30년 간 흔들임 없는 기초를 세워왔습니다.

 그러던 중 교단 내부의 성경적 가치관을 훼손하는 동성애 합법화 흐름에 반대하여 일어서게 되었고, 이를 계기로 2023년 7월 1일부로 글로벌감리교회(the Global Methodist Church)에 소속을 옮겨, 오늘날까지 복음적인 신앙의 유산을 성실히 계승하여 지켜오고 있습니다.

 교회가 세워진 이례로 지금까지 존 웨슬리의 선교적 유산을 물려받은 캔사스중앙글로벌감리교회는 이민 사회의 복음화와 제자화, 다음세대 교육 그리고 땅끝을 향한 열방 선교를 꿈꾸고 있습니다.
